Jasmine Yahid, APCC
Associate Profesional Clinical Counselor
Jasmine Yahid is an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) and Registered Dance/Movement Therapist (R-DMT). She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA and studied Dance at Santa Monica College. Jasmine graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA.
Jasmine is passionate about working with client's struggling with complex trauma, eating disorders, mood dysregulation, and anxiety. She uses a multi-modal approach, integrating therapies intuitively and clinically appropriate to meet the complex needs of each client. She also utilizes approaches from dance/movement therapy into practice to help inform clients of the mind and body connection, to build self-awareness, and cope with nervous system dysregulation caused by trauma.
Jasmine believes that all clients have a will to meaning and have the opportunity to self-actualize and transcend, despite past traumas.
